Solar Marangoni Machine // Make energy visible

An instrument that uses the sun to show an invisible force: a Fresnel lens melts a film of wax, and Marangoni flow pulls it into hexagonal cells.

Built at 1:1 for the Tectonic Fab unit and drawn in Rhino. A sun-tracking frame keeps the lens on target: two light sensors steer a servo, a thermistor and a temperature probe watch the film, and an Arduino parks the lens when it gets too hot. The sheets show the prototype as built, the electronics plate, and the servo joint with the sun sensor.
